May 2017 was another successful month with 40 items of information being received from 38 contributors, bringing the total number of contributions to 7480, from 2073 contributors.  Thank you everyone.

May is traditionally a month during which the website is used more than usual, and in 2017 a record number of 14,914 searches were made.

Various walks and talks were well attended, and visits were paid to a number of relevant events, notably the Rochester Sweeps Festival, the St John of Beverley celebrations in Beverley, and Great Wishford Oak Apple Day.

Work on the writing of the Folk Flora, progressed on schedule, and a number of minor publications were prepared.
