September was another enjoyable and productive month.  51 items of information were received from 27 contributors, 25 of them new.  Thus the Archive now contains 10074 items of information from 4030 contributors.  Most of this information came from an on-line talk for the Folklore Society, and a talk at the Todmorden Folklore Centre.

18 posts were added to the website’s Blog page.  Unfortunately the counting mechanism was not working for part of the month, so we don’t know how many searches were made. Thanks to Damon Allen of Bridport Radio –  http://www.bridportradio.co.uk– for getting things working again.  A number of useful messages were received.

Eight events, attracting a total of almost 190 people were, held.  Visits were paid to Gloucester for the annual meeting of the Society for Folk Life Studies, and to Urswick for its annual rushbearing ceremony.

One minor publication was produced:
