November was an enjoyable and productive month.  After several months the website has finally  been updated; thanks to Damon Allen of  Bridport Radio, for his work on this, and to Tricia McGrath who has supplied technical support since 2017.

14 items of information were received from 13 contributors, eight of them new.  Thus the Archive now contains 9420 items from 3422 contributors.

28 posts were added to the website’s blog page.  The number of searches made of the website rose to 225, which though better than October, remains far below previous totals.  We suspect this is due to the counts being made differently than before.  The number of messages received via the website also increased to 46, but only two of these (4.5%) were of interest, the rest were spam.

A winter tree walk was led for the Woodfield Pavilion, on Tooting Common, south London, and a talk was given to the Croydon Natural History and Scientific Society.   A visit was were made to Brixham, Devon, for the Orange Order’s annual parade commemorating the Glorious Revolution, and two stimulating Folklore Society lectures were attended, one in person and the other via Zoom.
