As has been noted elsewhere on this website it was formerly the custom to removed Remembrance Sunday wreaths from war memorials after a month or so.  More recently the wreaths tend to stay in place for an indefinite length of time, possibly until the following Remembrance Sunday.  The image here, taken on 31 July 2026, shows poppy wreaths on the Leeds War Memorial, in Victoria Square, near the City Art Gallery.  The wreaths are held in place by being covered in fine netting.
