Placards carried on the National March for Palestine, London, 7 September 2024.  The explanation for the inclusion of strawberries, Fragaria ananassa, on the lower one is that strawberries have been cultivated in Gaza for many (?hundreds of) years, and thus are part of its ‘agricultural heritage’.  The red flowers are anemone, Anemone coronaria, the national flower of Palestine.
