Paid the annual visit to Smith Street, off Kings Road, in Chelsea, London, on 20 December 2022.

There are 50 houses in the street, one of which was ungoing extensive renovation, of the remaining 49, 20 (c. 41%) had Christmas wreaths attached to their front doors.  This compares with c. 47% of the doors having wreaths in 2021, and c. 36% in 2020.  Two houses had their railings decorated with swags of plastic fir.  As in 2021 most of the wreaths were composed of a mixture of natural and artificial materials.
