Holy Thorn update, 3

The vandalised tree on Wearyall Hill is definitely dead.  Many ribbons and other recent ‘offerings’ continue to be attached to the metal frame which surrounded it and to the remains of its trunk.  Nightlight candles have been placed on a flat stone nearby.

The sapling which was planted to replace the damaged tree has disappeared and the metal frame which surrounded it is empty.

The thorn tree in the Abbey grounds continues to show signs of increasing decrepitude.
