Islington Apple Day was held in and around the Islington Ecology Centre in Gillespie Park on Sunday 19 October.  Attractions included a display of 25 varieties of apples, apple juicing, live music, the London Cycling Campaign, and various craft stalls.

Of these the apple juicing proved to be the most popular, with people selecting  apples from a number of varieties supplied by the National Fruit Collections at Brogdale, Kent, and queuing to get these juiced.
