Plant-lore Archive – April 2024

April started well, but from the 17th  computer problems severely impeded activities. Please note that the e-mail address is not working, and all correspondence should be sent to

12 items of information were received from 10 contributors, 6 of them new.  Thus the Archive now contains 9349 items from 3371 contributors. Three walks were led, and another visit to record plants in West Norwood Cemetery was jointly led with Amanda Tuke.  A visit was paid to Stratford-on-Avon to see flowers left on Shakespeare’s grave following his annual birthday celebrations on 20 April.
