As far as collecting went February was a relatively successful month with 32 items of information being received from 13 contributors, bringing the totals to 8172 items from 2528 contributors.  Most of this information came in as a result of a talk to the Hertfordshire Herb Group, thank you!

Work continued on a possible new book on English plant-names, and a programme of walks and talks for the remainder of the year was developed.
