February was another month that was reasonably successful, but not outstandingly so.

13 items of information were received from 13 contributors, 12 of them new.  Thus the Archive now contains 10,135 items from 4081 contributors.

Two successful on-line talks were given, and one workshop held, the three events attracting a total of c.46 participants.

17 new posts were added to the website’s Blog page.

Visits were paid to apple wassailing in Beddington Park, and to the London Chinese New Year Celebrations.

Searches of, and useful messages received via, the website remain low.  People searching the  website are reminded to ensure that they spell the subject of their search correctly; a significant number of the failed searches were unsuccessful because the name of the plant for which information was sought had been incorrectly spelt.  Also, if the initial search yields no result, it might be worth doing a separate search on the Local Names page.
