Berlin held its 20th Festival of Lights from 4-13 October 2024.  This event celebrates the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989.  The theme for the 2024 was Celebrating Freedom, and five artists from four different countries, one of them from Ukraine, were chosen to illuminate the Brandenburg Gate.
