Street in Harrogate, North Yorkshire decorated with Yorkshire flags – consisting of a white rose against a blue background – Yorkshire Day, 1 August 2026.
The main event of the Day was held in Goole in the East Riding, elsewhere (Harrogate, Leeds and Ripon) it seemed to be little noticed, though a few, mostly elderly, people wore artificial white roses in their lapels, and a few shops displayed the flag.
