October was a moderately successful month, with 18 items of information being received from 10 contributors, all of them new. Thus the Archive now contains 10092 items from 4040 contributors.

Eight events, attracting approximately 75 people, were led.  Particularly enjoyable was the talk given to SE5 Forum on 7 October.

Conker Championships were attended at Peckham (see image) and on Hampstead Heath, as were Islington Apple Day and Tooting Common’s Pumpkin Parade.

28 posts were added to the website, of which 171 searches were made.  No interesting messages were received via the website.
